The Redmi 8 which was launched last year gained a good success In India. As we all know that Redmi India is planning to launch the Redmi 8 successor in India very soon. We have not heard any rumors about the device in recent time but now we have got the leak from Sudhanshu Ambhore. As per him the Redmi 9 will be powered with MediaTek Helio G80 Processor which we have seen in realme 6i launched in Myanmar recently. According to Sudhanshu Ambhore, he got the specification and the leaked image from another source in China.

According to the leak, the Redmi 9 will come with Quad camera configuration on the backside. The device will be equipped with a primary sensor is a 13MP camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle sensor, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The leaked image of the Redmi 9 shows that the design is inspired by that of the Redmi K30 or we can say POCO X2. If you look closely at the camera setup three of the cameras are arranged vertically in a single housing accompanied by a physical fingerprint scanner. And at the left of three cameras setup is a smaller housing which includes the fourth camera and LED flash. The overall look of the rear camera setup resembles the mixture of Redmi Note 8 Pro and Redmi K30. Alongside all these specifications the Redmi 9 is believed to arrive in two color options- The purple color and a green one according to the leak.
The device will succeed the Redmi 8 in India which was launched last year. Looks like the Redmi 9 will remain under the 10k budget category in 2020. It will be interesting to know what other specifications the device will arrive
