Realme has started this year on a trendy note with X7 and Narzo Series and to mention specially, they are even preparing up for their first flagship of this year with the launch of Realme GT which is going to be driven by a 5G flagship processor. Realme GT was officially previewed at MWC ( MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS) Shanghai 2021 and is slated to launch officially on 4th March in China. The very next day, Realme has prepared up for another launch in Malaysia where it will be unveiling its budget-friendly Realme C-series device which is named Realme C21 on the official Facebook page of Realme Malaysia, where they also announced the launch date for this device.
Similar to its predecessor, Realme C21 will be having a huge battery, triple-camera setup, trendy design with two colour variants and much more. We have been lucky enough to get some specifications of this device, all hail to AliExpress listings where they were previewed before the official launch.
The Realme C21 said to come with a waterdrop notch style 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display provided with 1600 x 720-pixel screen resolution. It is powered by a 12nm Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G35 low-end processor, clocked at up to 2.3GHz. The phone is paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB that is further expandable via a microSD card. Hopefully, the phone is likely to run on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 custom skin straight out of the box. The handset may house a 5,000mAh battery with probably 18W fast charging support.
Moving to cameras, the Realme C21 will have triple cameras at the back with a 13MP primary sensor, while the other sensors could be a macro lens and a depth sensor of 2MP each. Connectivity features could include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. On the other side, the front camera is a modest 5MP selfie snapper.
Realme C21 has a gradient back panel with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It includes a 3.5mm audio jack and dual-SIM with 4G LTE support. The Realme C21 comes in two colour variants, cross blue and cross black, and will be priced around INR 11,200 to INR 11,800 (roughly around $153 to $161) according to the leaked listing on AliExpress.
The launch of this budget smartphone in India is still not confirmed but we hope that this device will be launched soon as Realme has not launched any budget device in India yet and it’s not a time that Realme didn’t surprise us with its surprise launches in India. At present Realme is gearing up to launch their first 108MP camera smartphone with Realme 8 Pro which is said to be competing with Redmi Note 10 Pro which is said to carry the same megapixel primary camera.
