Realme 6i with World’s First Helio G80 Processor Launching on March 17, Will Come With 18W Fast Charging And 48MP Quad Cameras

Realme 6i launching in Myanmar with USB Type-C and 18W Fast Charging support on 17 March

Realme 6i is launching Officially with MediaTek Helio G80 SOC in Myanmar on 17th March, which makes it the world’s first smartphone to be powered with this latest processor from MediaTek. The company has officially announced via Facebook handle that Realme 6i is indeed launching in Myanmar on March 17, 2020. The company shared a poster of Realme 6i Launch date which itself reveals that The device will come USB Type-C port and 18W fast charging support. The Company also reveals that Realme 6i will come with Quad Cameras setup with 48MP of main sensor.

The Helio G80 SOC was announced by MediaTek last month comes as a successor of Helio G70 & it sits between the Helio G70 & the Helio G90 SOCs in terms of performance. Based on the 12nm manufacturing process.

Recently a Realme device model number RMX2040 believed to be the Realme 6i was spotted on Federal Communications Commission (FFC) which reveals some of its specifications. The FCC listings reveals that Realme 6i will come with a water-drop notch display. Interestingly a white variants of Realme 6i was also spotted which reveals that the Realme 6i comes will be equipped a quad rear camera setup aligned in one position, the device will indeed come with Quad Cameras settup with 48MP of main camera sensor as it will succeed Realme 5i which also comes with Quad camera Setup but tha main sensor as just 12MP. Looking at the image the physical fingerprint sensor is placed right beside the rear quad camera setup. The device will have a 5000 mAh battery and will support 18W fast charging.

While it is expected that Realme 6i wil be a successor of Realme 5i and will be priced something around Rs. 10,000 when it comes to India, As company believes India is one of the key markets for Realme, It is expected to unveil the handset in the coming months or weeks.
