The event was scheduled at MWC 2020 which got canceled due to Coronavirus outbreak. Nokia’s has finally launched its first 5G Smartphone the Nokia 8.3 5G. Nokia’s phone maker HMD Global has launched this 5G Smartphone at an online event along with Nokia 5.3, Nokia 1.3 Android 10 Go and Nokia 5310. Nokia 8.3 5G comes with the Snapdragon 765G under the hood and uses Qualcomm’s 5G RF Front end module solution to condense more than 40 different RF components into one module. Nokia claims that this thing makes the Nokia 8.3 5G future proof Smartphone.

The Nokia 8.3 5G comes in an entirely-new and refreshed design makeover, it comes with a punch-hole notch display, slim bezels, and a Nordic design.
Nokia 8.3 5G Smartphone sports a 6.81-inch Pure-display with FHD+ resolution Under the hood, The device has been powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, which features an integrated 5G modem. Nokia 8.3 5G has been fueled with a decent 4,500 mAh battery with 18W fast-charging technology. The Smartphone packs and runs on Android 10 and is part of the Android One programme, HMD has guaranteed that under the Android Go Programme Nokia 8.3 5G will receive three years of monthly security updates and two years of upgrades.
Talking about the cameras the device features a Pure-View quad camera setup on the rear with Zeiss optics – 64MP of primary sensor + 12MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP macro sensor + 2MP depth sensor. On the front side there is a 24MP camera with ZEISS optics housed in a punch-hole for selfies.

Nokia 8.3 5G comes in one color which is inspired by Finnish roots – the Polar Night with a reflective glass back – According to Nokia the color takes inspiration straight from the arctic sky.
The Nokia 8.3 5G smartphone ships in tow storage variants and will be available in Summer 2020. The 6GB+64GB variant is priced at 599 euros (Rs 47,948 approx) and the higher model 8GB+128GB variant is priced at 659 euros (Rs 51,951 approx).
